Basics of Supply Chain Management: This course begins with an overview of the entire supply chain management process and then discusses order qualifiers/order winners, the basics of MRP, dependent vs. independent demand, master planning, production scheduling, forecasting techniques, determining order quantities, ABC analysis, inventory management, capacity management, and production activity control. It also discusses supplier selection, supplier agreements, the quality management system, lean/just-in-time manufacturing, and the theory of constraints. Detailed Scheduling and Planning: This course will teach you the various techniques for effective material and capacity scheduling. You'll learn the principles of material requirements planning (MRP); you'll learn the various types of MRP systems, priority planning and managerial considerations in implementing MRP. You'll learn the key concepts in inventory management, ABC analysis, inventory

reporting, measuring inventory performance, inventory management practices, and procurement and supplier planning. You'll also learn to recognize the skills of the project manager, become familiar with scheduling tools such as the Gantt chart, network diagram, critical path, and PERT charts, identify project team functions and explain project closeout.

Execution and Control of Operations: In this course you'll learn the how to and the importance prioritizing and sequencing work, executing work plans and implementing controls, reporting activity results, and providing feedback on performance. The course explains techniques for scheduling and controlling production processes, the execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement plans, and the control and handling of inventories.

Strategic Management of Resources: In this course you'll learn the relationship to, and the impact of, existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply chain-related functions.
